Day 1
Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Kampala. As you journey south, enjoy breathtaking views of Uganda’s rolling hills and lush landscapes. Stop at the Equator for memorable photos and some local shopping. Continue to Mbarara for a delicious lunch before heading toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Arrive in the late afternoon at Bunyonyi Overland Resort, nestled on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi, where you can relax and take in the stunning views.

Day 2
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Lake Bunyonyi
Wake up early for the highlight of your safari—the thrilling gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After a briefing by park rangers, embark on a trek through the lush forest to encounter the majestic mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. This unforgettable experience allows you to spend time observing these gentle giants up close.
- After your trek, return to Bunyonyi Overland Resort for a relaxing afternoon. Enjoy the serene beauty of Lake Bunyonyi, where you can unwind with a swim, canoe ride, or simply relax by the water.

Day 3
Relaxation at Lake Bunyonyi
Today, enjoy a leisurely day at Lake Bunyonyi, one of Uganda’s most picturesque and tranquil spots. Spend the
day unwinding in the lush surroundings, taking in the panoramic views, or participating in activities like
kayaking, swimming, or birdwatching. For those seeking a bit more adventure, a boat ride around the lake’s
islands.
This day of relaxation is the perfect opportunity to reflect on the incredible
wildlife experiences of the previous days and recharge for the journey back.
